Edward Herbers I made this! It's a fake video game soundtrack (33 songs!) inspired by the music of Zelda, Myst, Outer Wilds, and more. My brother made original artwork for every song. Enjoy the adventure! Favorite track: Aquabara Village.

about

In a box of old video games, you find a dusty old cartridge. You don't remember the game at all, but the soundtrack is somehow familiar...

This album is an homage to the incredible soundtracks of the Legend of Zelda series. The 32 songs on this album are not covers. They are entirely original pieces, drawing inspiration from the music and atmospheres of the Zelda universe. I am so excited to release this, as it's been a really fun project to put together.

This album also includes a series of original artwork created by Sam Herbers. The locations depicted in each image complement the music, bringing each imaginary location to life. Sam also composed and performed the final track of the album.

Thank you to all of the soundtrack composers whose work provided significant inspiration to my own development as a songwriter, including (but not limited to):
Dan Hess (Pilotwings 64)
Kōji Kondō (Legend of Zelda)
Michael Land (Monkey Island)
Christopher Larkin (Hollow Knight)
Tim Larkin (Uru: Ages Beyond Myst)
Ryan Miller (Myst)
Andrew Prahlow (Outer Wilds)
Rich Vreeland/Disasterpeace (Fez)
